EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS:-
1. EXTRUDER
65mm extruder with 28:1 L/D ratio, manufactured to the following specification:
Construction : Mainframe of the machine is of a compact, robust construction. Fabricated from steel section and steel plate to withstand continuous use under production conditions
Primed and painted to provide a hardwearing oil and heat resistant finish. All access panels easily removable for maintenance.
Barrel : Manufactured from high-grade steel alloy (EN-41B) [Make – MUSCO], nitride hardened for wear resistance, supplied with square end flange. Including breaker plate, with recess for screen pack
Screw : Manufactured from high-grade steel alloy (EN-41B) [Make – MUSCO] nitride hardened for wear resistance, ground and highly polished. Screw of design Barrier type with grooved type mixing zone.
Drive : 15 HP AC motor (MAKE- ABB/ Hindustan) with AC frequency variable drive [Make – A.B.B.DELTA] with precise control of screw speed.
Gear Box : Heavy-duty gear box (Make – Elmards / impex) featuring double reduction, parallel shaft, and helical gears All taper roller bearings and gear trains are immersed in lubricating oil. Transmission by V- belts, giving standard screw speed range of 10-100 rpm or, with change pulleys, tailored to speed/torque requirements.
Thrust pack Assembly : Inbuilt thrust pack mounted on the gearbox, housing spherical roller thrust Bearing designed to withstand the thrust generated by the extruder screw. Complete with the oil seals to retain the lubrication fed by the gearbox.
Feed throat : Fabricated from steel and provided with water-cooling.
Hopper : Fabricated from stainless steel with sight glass, emptying chute, shut- off slide and stainless steel lid.
Barrel heating : 4 barrel zones, each with 3 kW heating capacity utilizing ceramic heaters and thermocouples. Total Heating load 12kw
Barrel cooling : Each barrel zone fitted with an axial air fan blower
Temperature control : Temperature of each zone is controlled by PID instrument with auto adjustment. 2 additional instruments are included for head and die control, wired to heater sockets and including two thermocouples, making a total of 6 temperature control zones
2. MULTI COLOR DESIGN DIE - HEAD
Tube die head complete with spider spiral manufactured in stainless steel Supplied with necessary heaters and thermocouples. (Any one size of Die is in scope of supply)

3. TANK
Base Frame : Fabricated M.S. support frame with jacking screws for ease of positioning. Primed and painted to provide a hard wearing oil and heat resistant finish.
Water Bath : Fabricated from heavy gauge stainless steel, flanged at each end and fitted with Removable stainless steel end plates and sealing gaskets. Adjustable water level/overflow pipe and empty valve
Bath Length : 4000 mm (4mtr)
Longitudinal Adjustment : Up to 500 mm via hand wheel
Lateral Adjustment : Up to 25mm via hand wheel.
Vertical adjustment : Up to 25 mm via hand wheel

4. COOLING TANK

5. HAUL-OFF UNIT
High-speed precision haul-off with the following specification:
Construction : Mainframe of the machine is of robust construction fabricated from Steel section and steel plate to withstand continuous use under production conditions. Primed and painted to provide hardwearing oil and heat resistant finish.
Frame mounted fitted with jacking screws for ease of positioning and height adjustment. All access panels easily removable for
maintenance.
Speed Control : Geared for speed range to suit customer requirements up to a maximum speed of 30 m/min. Each Roller is Driven by Individual 1HP AC MOTOR with common 1 HP AC drive.
Poly V roller : imported Roller with rubber coating having shore hardness 40 – 45
Roller gap adjustments : Top booms are adjusted by hand wheel
6. SERVO CUTTER
Construction : Mainframe of the machine is of robust construction fabricated from hollow box section and steel plate to withstand continuous use under production conditions. Primed and painted to provide hardwearing oil and heat resistant finish. All access panel easily removable for maintenance.
Drive : A.C. Servo motor [Make – PANASONIC] with Servo Drive.
Single blade as well as double blade (Depending on application)
PLC base control panel with HMI (Human Machine Interference) on which Cutting mode selection, cutting length selection, counter, cuts / min, line speed is available.
Cutting rate : Up to 70 cuts/minute in on intermediate mode
7. CONTROL PANEL
Integral control cabinet mounted on base. It includes:
1. Power on indicator.
2. Drive control: Drive will be fitted inside the panel cabinet and drive keypad are provided on panel door which shows motor current (ampere), frequency, motor RPM & Power % utilization.
3. Speed potentiometer for all motors.
4. Motor stop and start button.
5. Temperature controllers.
6. Emergency stop button for main motor, calendar unit and winder.
